Career
Resources
Our Career Resources Center is located in Suite 351 of the Tate-Turner-Kuralt
Building, UNC School of Social Work and is open Monday through Friday
from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Whether you are researching careers and universities, searching
for financial aid, navigating the admissions process for undergraduate
or graduate school, or studying for admissions tests, you will find
resources and support to assist your efforts in our library. Not
only do we have information about the health fields you would expect
-- like medicine, dentistry and nursing, but also about allied health,
biomedical science and health-related fields -- like hospital administration,
phlebotomy, acupuncture and cytotechnology.
Our large collection of college and university graduate and undergraduate
catalogs allow you to get a feel for programs across the country,
as well as for admissions requirements. You can pick up a calendar
listing admissions tests dates as well as test bulletins and applications.
And, to help you prepare for the tests, you can use our collection
of study aids. If you are looking for financial aid, we have a wealth
of information on grants, scholarships and loan programs available
to you.
In the NC-HCAP Library, you will find:
- Admissions
test booklets and access to their online materials, including
the DAT, GMAT, GRE, PCAT and MCAT
- Career
planning resource manuals
