Welcome to NC-HCAP!

Welcome to our home on the Internet. Whether you are seeking specific information about a health career or simply want to learn more about
NC-HCAP, you will find our web site to be an exciting
gateway to our program.

Through a variety of programs and activities geared
toward disadvantaged students -- from elementary to graduate school -- as well as to their parents, mentors
and communities, NC-HCAP works to increase the
number of these students trained and employed in the health professions in our state. When these students pursue their careers in North Carolina's underserved communities, they promote a higher quality of life for
us all.

We encourage you to peruse our web site and
trust you will visit it often.

2008 SEP Program

The SEP Program began on Saturday, May 17 for 50 college students from around the country.

Classes are well under way and the students are extremely busy with their coursework, touring health science schools and shadowing healthcare professionals. Follow along as we highlight their activities in our photo gallery.

Three of our students will be chronicling their experiences over the course of the summer - be sure to check out the blogs of Tierra Butler, Sunny Darji and Justin Kelly.

SEP ALUMNI SURVEY
