North Carolina Health Careers Access Program is located in Suite
3307 of the new Student and Academic Services Building South
on the campus of the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. Also, see map below.
Directions If You Are On Campus
If you are on campus go to the Rams Head Center. Once on the plaza , to your right is the Rams Head Dining Center (including Chase Dining Hall) and the Rams Head Recreation Center is directly in front of you. There is a diagonal walk to your left between the two building that will take you to Morrison Residence Hall and the SASB. Just past the bridge is a walk to your left that will take you to the SASB. As you enter the plaza of the SASB there are two buildings - North on your left and South to your front right. In the South building, take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Our offices are in Suite 3307, across the hall from the elevator.
Directions If You Are Off Campus
From the North and West
I-40 from the West
Take Exit 266 (Chapel Hill) and at the top of the ramp take a right. Come into town (approximately 2 ½ miles) and you will pass (on your right) Fire Station #1 at the left curve in the road and come up the hill. The first light is Rosemary Street, the next is Franklin Street, the next light is a mid-block crossing – get into the left lane and turn left on Cameron Avenue. Go down Cameron and at the first light (Raleigh Street) and continue through the intersection. The next light is PlayMaker’s Theatre, and at the third light (South Road) continue straight through the intersection. Take the first right (Ridge Road) turn left and go down Ridge Road. Just past the Stadium Drive intersection (right) the Rams Head Parking Deck will be on your right.
At the north end of the parking deck is an elevator that will take you to the Plaza. Once on the Plaza, follow the campus directions above.
I-85 from the North
Take the 15-501 exit (just past the Crosdaile exit) to the left. Come into town, and just after the Erwin Road intersection (next after Lowe’s Building Supply) there is a fork in the road. You want to take the left fork (15-501 Bypass) and go to the Manning Drive (Hospital/Smith Center) interchange. Stay in the right lane and turn right onto Manning Drive. Stay in the right lane and at the top of the hill turn right on Ridge Road. Just down the hill around the curve is the Rams Center Parking Deck – turn left into the deck.
At the north end of the parking deck is an elevator that will take you to the Plaza. Once on the Plaza, follow the campus directions above.
From the South and East
I-40 from the East
Take Exit 273B and come in to town. After passing under the 54/15-501 Bypass overpass – come up the hill in the left lane. At the top of the hill at the intersection (Country Club) turn left at the light. Take the first right (Ridge Road) go down Ridge Road. Just past the Stadium Drive intersection (right) the Rams Head Parking Deck will be on your right.
At the north end of the parking deck is an elevator that will take you to the Plaza. Once on the Plaza, follow the campus directions above.
15-501 from the South
Turn right on the 54/15-501 Bypass and the next interchange will be Manning Drive (Hospital/Smith Center). Turn left onto Manning Drive Stay in the right lane and at the top of the hill turn right on Ridge Road. Just down the hill around the curve is the Rams Center Parking Deck – turn left into the deck. In the South building, take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Our offices are in Suite 3307, across the hall from the elevator.

Visitor
Parking:
Visitor parking is available at the Ram’s Head Deck on Ridge Road. There is a nominal $1.25/hour fee. Ram’s Head is conveniently designed with a plaza-level path that leads to our offices.
