Ambassadors will host the 5th annual community health fair offering complimentary health screenings and other important health-related information to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community.

Thursday, March 31 --- NC-HCAP Health Professions Forum and Inspirational Speakers in Science Lecture
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Location: Hitchcock Room of the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History
This forum is a great opportunity to talk informally with students in graduate and professional schools about the admissions process, to meet with representatives from health professions schools across the state, and to hear this year's Inspirational Speakers in Science lecture given by Dr. Gloria Wilder-Braithwaite. Her work with the Children's Health Project on Washington, D.C. helped her earn the "Use Your Life Award" from Oprah's Angel Network. Stay tuned for details regarding Relay for Life! This fun, 24-hour fundraising activity is aimed towards raising money and awareness for cancer research.

The NC-HCAP Ambassadors will be holding the 2nd annual "Health on the Block," a community outreach project designed to promote health awareness. Local organizations from UNC and the Chapel Hill area will be providing free health screenings and health care information. *Required member activity
